Continues Mono's downward spiral since For My Parents. It's another decent-enough offering but nothing here really stands out. The opener and title track have their moments, but the truth is Mono just aren't able to deviate from their formula enough to remain interesting. By the time Hymn to the Immortal Wind rolled around they had taken their sound as far as it could go. Despite trying to change it up by moving in a darker, heavier direction these last couple of albums, it still sounds far too familiar.
