The issue here isn't that it's a bad album, it's that it feels too much like TFN running through the motions. Every song, at its core, is structured much the same as each other. The sudden shifts in tempo and genre no longer feel fresh and exciting, they feel instead like something TFN puts into the song because "that's what they do". And in the end you have a product that feels more like attending a class of "How to Write a Twelve Foot Ninja Song 101" rather than the passionate and energetic album we know they can write. For this listener, the novelty has long worn off. Recommended Songs: Invincible, Point of You

What? People are giving this 2's and 3' ? Really? Ok... this album is in my opinion far, far better than the album.. Man, Dig For Bones alone is better than the whole first album  .. ok seriously, this album doesn't have any bad song and most importantly no single cringeworthy moment which the debut was full of.. the is the first album in this year which isn't a disappointment for me

I expected a fun, catchy riff, hard hitting album and got exactly that! If you liked their debut album do not sleep on this funkiness!

I'm really not a Twelve Foot Ninja fan, so far I only liked Smoke Bomb and found myself incapable of listening to Silent Machine. I thought this album was incredibly dull. Strangely, Outlier flows a lot more easily for me. It's just TFN doing their Schtick/Gimmick. It grew old pretty quickly (It took one EP in my case) but it doesn't mean that the band is bad by any means or that it doesn't offer something different. And it's only their SECOND album after all. They still need to satiate their fans before attempting to evolve a bit. This will certainly happen with their third opus. Balads and progressive stuff.

I feel it needed another lengthier more progressive track included to really make the album rawesome. Whilst Point of you, post mortem and monsoon are cool, i sort of lose interest through rthese tracks. I would of liked another big track on there.rBut generally i really like it.

Rating :3.6 catchier than any of their other stuff. Mostly great but its nowhere near as good as
their EPs and especially i think one can finally stop hoping that theyll return to the more
progressive songs like Manufacture of Conscent etc. First half is fine but nothing fantastic.
Second half has a few excellent moments with Collateral, Point of You and and Dig for Bones.
Its still the same TFN, they just lost a bit of their weird freshness that made them so great.

Not as good as SM, but it's still got plenty of memorable moments. Less focus on the djent but just enough to maintain their eclectic identity without getting predictable. Plenty of progressive elements that the previous record didn't have. Any kind of metal fan could enjoy these guys.
