| 4.0 excellent | HelloJoe | February 16th 22 | Clever progressions that sound like they shouldn't work but they do. Really nice textures, and
bold ideas. I can understand listeners being turned off by the dry timber of his voice, but for
me, that is subsided by the beautiful arrangements and creative melodies.

| 2.5 average | GamamJ | August 4th 20 | Jacob Collier, an immensely talented YouTube star. Can he write good music? Meh. Firstly, his style is a sort of mix of everything you can think of, but smooth, which is not entirely my thing. Not a fan of his vocals either. What is amazing though is the complexity of the actual music, especially the harmonies. Like wow.

| 5.0 classic | Philalethes | June 28th 16 | Jacob is a once in a lifetime musician. He can play any instrument he touches at a world class level. His vocal range is absolutely enormous. His creative production skills showcased in his self-made YouTube videos are impressive. All this and he is only 20 years old. How does all this raw talent translate on to Jacob's debut ralbum? His debut album demonstrates not only his virtuosic apptitude, but also his incredible ear for melody and his advanced grasp of songwriting. This is a monster of a debut album, and it is incredibly exciting to be able to know that we get to watch this young savant unfold his musical talents before our eyes for many years to come.r
