| 5.0 classic | tjcanese | March 8th 18 | He made sure every single track had it's own album cover with visual metaphors to help aid the overall message. If you watched his behind the scenes videos on YouTube you would gain a newfound respect for his vision. He wrote, recorded, produced and performs all his own music which can not be said about most other chart topping artists. He went on three sold out tours just off the music from one album because so many people enjoyed it that much. KISS: Keep it simple stupid. Sometimes basic lyrics get your point across better than complex metaphors that make no sense to anyone but the artist. This is my favorite album

| 3.5 great | GoldenGuy444 | May 11th 17 | Big, Bombastic, and fun. Without a doubt one of the best produced albums of 2016.

| 1.0 awful | Snide | March 25th 17 | One of the most repetitive, nonsensical, and straight up pretentious albums to come out of 2016.

| 0.0 | sean | February 26th 17 | Jon Bellion serves a pop album with high highs, but pretty low lows. As well as being hit and miss, Bellion manages to deliver some lackluster lyrics and irritating humble brags. This being said, this album manages to be catchy and infectious, while maintaining a grandiose vibe.

| 3.5 great | Hurricanslash | July 3rd 16 | Being the effort to get noticed by Pixar of all things, Jon Bellions proper debut album is
something to be admired if only for his extremely lofty ambitions and the fact that he does
everything on this album, literally. Sadly, though, a lot of the songs on here seem kinda bland
and/or like extremely sparkly pop-nuggets with really clumsy and earnest lyrics. The good songs do
overpower the bland ones, though, and whenever he tries to go for a more rock-edge, he finds
himself at his absolute best. Hand Of God, however, is basically one of the very best closers to
an album you will hear all year, a very grandiose and weirdly touching attempt to get all the
scattershot ideas of the album under one roof, and it works massively, succeeding with beatifully
written choir-arrangements, good lyrics and the best production on the whole album. If you want to
check one single song from this album, choose this one. Otherwise, this is a pretty okay debut
from a clearly talented artist, and it will be very interesting to see where he goes next.

| 3.0 good | dihstyle69 | June 15th 16 | I don't get why people are saying this album is original. yea, jon bellion is rapping, singing, producing and literally doing everything here but that doesn't necessarily equals good. the album is pretty decent, but that's it. nothing here goes beyond being decent imo. good but not as good as many are making it out to be. he has potential, though. 3
