Perhaps the best out of Demon Hunter's first four albums, Storm The Gates Of Hell is the band's best produced album, and has plenty of songs similar to those from previous albums, but with more new elements to keep things interesting.

This cd is some pretty good stuff, you can tell that they are experimenting with more ideas and trying to further what they can do. Has many melodic elements throughout as well as the hard elements which flow into each other (almost) flawlessly the entire cd. There may be a few moments that seem repetative but the rest of the cd more than makes up for it. Check it out!

ironically their best attempt at making metal instead of nu/alt rock rap would be their downfall, as a lot of it is just hackneyed together riffs n random sound effects, still title is a cute rendition of a non metal band trying to go ahrd, lead us is almost decently thrashy forgetting the chorus, fading away is prob the best track tho it resembles pop rock more than anything, carry me down is almost poignant, i quite like thorns esp the keys, rest is garbo filler

one of demon hunters BEST albums. and all demon hunter is really good to me. the world is a thorn is probably demon hunters worst and even that one I rate farely high, like a 3.5

Definitely Demon Hunter's catchiest and most commercial album. However, that is in no way a bad thing. I really enjoy this album and would've been perfectly happy had they continued along this road on future releases.
