| 5.0 classic | Alfakrill | October 6th 16 | This album will stand the test of time. I think the reviewer here is way off at some points. I don't think Virus has any "intentions" to sound like noone else. They've sounded like noone else since their debut, Carheart. They are in a realm of their own and they have nothing to prove. I mean, "self proclaiming to be like no other"? When and where did they proclaim that?? Where did the reviever get that from? An interview? I've read most interviews they've done (online anyway), and they've never said that??

| 3.8 excellent | Voivod STAFF | July 10th 16 | Virus leave behind the moot point the previous album was, and allow their music to catch some serious rock breathers. The distortion in the guitars (and the metal elements altogether) is completely gone, giving more space to the weird guitar melodies and the expertly arranged rhythm section. To that end, Plenum's recurring/off-beat bass lines in "Steamer" will get you in tune with Ved Buens Ende's dissonant vibes, whereas the rather unexpected solo in "Gravity Seeker" is courtesy of Dan Mongrain from Voivod! Favorite song(s): the whole album, pretty much. Stream: http://virusnorway.bandcamp.com/album/memento-collider

| 3.3 great | Trey STAFF | June 8th 16 | This album has a very dark proggy post punk sound. It's the kind of dark, quirky, prog that only Norway seems capable of producing.
