Though inconsistent and overlong, Dangerous Women is a fun, high energy album thanks to Grande's beautifully
excellent vocals and enough moments of ingenuity to make this album well worth a listen.

While Adrianna Grande is an excellent singing, this album does not do it for me - I wouldn't listen to it. The main song "Dangerous woman" is alright, there is nothing special about it. The thing I don't like about this album is that all the songs sound like a continuation of each other and it is like listening to a song which is an hour long

has its hits but mostly misses, every single track save greedy being that attempt at slow swagger seduction, bad decisions the best of the bunch, but does this woman have a single song that isnt explicitly about sex? can we just take a nice walk in the park now and again instead of going straight to bed? just a little girl pretending to be a suave lady

Yes, like any Grande album there are a few stinkers in there, but when it hits, oh boy does it hit, and the insane songs in there are what convinces me that this is her best album.

Ok I get why this got praised. It's a very solid pop album, even though the first half is much better than the second one. Basically, all tracks from the intro to "Greedy" are bops (except from that Lil Wayne feat) and let her display both her gorgeous voice ("Moonlight") as well as her capacity to create catchy as hell chorus ("Dangerous Woman"). Truly, it's a shame the second part of the record is not on par because there is so much potential to create the pop album of the decade here. Eh, Carly did it nonetheless.

Hard to rate this objectively because it is blasted on the radio/in stores etc. all the time so of course lots of tracks feel recognizable. Following her discog I can tell why this got so much hype when it came out. Huge improvement from her two first albums. This one manages to vary genres without it feeling random, the record feels well constructed and very strong on that front especially for such mainstream pop. Tracks 1-8 are 3.7-3.9 and are p much all jams except 6. Then it goes to crap again. 9 is supremely annoying, 1.1-1.2, and track 10 is meh as f*ck. The closer is ok but I wish the record stopped at 7 or 8 instead. Still a jam and re-listen album, overall 3.6

With glamorous production, addictive tunes, and Ariana's signature vocal flare, Dangerous Woman finally allows Ariana to stand above her peers who sound rather forced and calculated in comparison (Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, etc.). The first half is the superior half as the pretty "Moonlight" and sassy title track are a two-punch knockout that make Grande's statement apparent: sexualized lyrics with an underbelly of female empowerment. As the album progresses with synth driven club tunes like "Into You," "Greedy," and "Be Alright," she makes her statement convincing and truly dives into the role she has assigned herself. "Everyday" and "Let Me Love You" are disappointing by comparison as they lack the finesse of the other tunes here, but the album closes on a good note with "Thinking of You," and if you get the Target Exclusive version, it has excellent bonus tunes like "Focus" and especially "Step on Up." A luscious, deeply satisfying pop record.

from perfect, especially in the lyrical department but the project is still a lot
of fun to go through. 3.5
