| 3.5 great | WhatKeepsMeHere | November 4th 09 | Definitely my favorite Remembering Never release. Like the review states, the album is very focused musically and relies on heart and conviction to gain your interest. Although this band does generously use breakdowns, I would contend that they are much more than that. When I listen to this cd, I hear lyrics commenting on various issues and good musicianship from all other members of the band, something not common among many "scene" bands today.

| 4.0 excellent | heartandvalour | September 14th 08 | I've always been a fan of Remembering Never. "She Looks So Good in Red" although it was claimed to be a 'joke'--lyric wise--was not a bad album by any means. "Women and Children..." impressed me even more. With "God Save Us" though, I can hands down say Remembering Never is one of the best hardcore bands I've ever heard. Many critique them on their use of "too many breakdowns." I highly disagree when it comes to GSU. This album is their most mature musically--their song writing has improved dramatically. The lyrics are better than ever--touching on topics such as Religion (of course), Government, Gay Rights, etc. It's refreshing to hear Pete's vocals and lyrics; avoiding adding to the pile of songs about girls/heartbreak.
If you had to check out ONE band you've never heard of today, I highly suggest you give these guys a listen.
