COLLEGROVE is a collaboration studio album from both 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. As a fan of both of these artists, I gotta say, this album was a pretty big disappointment. It wasn't any where near as good as I expected it to be. The lyrics were piss poor as they mostly rap about cliched subject matters and the tracklist is very inconsistent. Both of the vocals are pretty bad with Wayne's unnecessary, off key autotune singing and 2 Chainz's slurred and hard-to-understand voice. But their technicality was very impressive. With clever figurative language and witty wordplay from both of these Southern rappers. Also the production was very good with heavy trap-like beats that contain a great bass and nice melodies. Also this album really showcases 2 Chainz's skills as a rapper, but I know for a fact Wayne could do better than this. While COLLEGROVE is a decent album, I don't recommended it aside from the songs in my “Favorite Songs” category.
