Jimmy Eat World's poppiest release post-Bleed American. Glitzy and polished, bordering on synthetic, with some super catchy melodies ("Let It Happen," "Always Be") as well as, unfortunately, some annoying, generic drivel ("Here It Goes"). It's sickly sweet and nowhere near the depth of Clarity or Futures, but pop fans will find some worth here. "Gotta Be Somebody's Blues" is excellent; undoubtedly the most interesting song here.

I became very addicted to this album after a few listens. The mood in this album is VERY uplifting, and when I was listening to it, I was going through a hard time. Therefore I rate this album very high.

I greatly aticipated this album.
Go Big casino influences are reconisable I think! [Chase this light ;P]
Alot lighter and bouncier, the album I think is a breath of fresh air.
I loved it.
A change from their other albums, but all are different aren't they - even though I prefer thier earlier stuff.
Gotta be somebody's blues blew me away, so melodic and deep, the strings are beautiful.
I can't single out a certain track as a favorite as they rotate but the UK bonus tracks, Be sensible and Distraction are definate highlights!

Once again, Jimmy Eat World have delivered another great pop record that worms its way into your head with hook after hook after hook. Adkins is a smart and intriguing lyricist and can still hold a tune as well as he could in the Clarity days, if not more so now. Highlights include Big Casino, Electable, Gotta Be Somebody's Blues and Dizzy. Probably won't win any new fans, but will most certainly please current ones.

The only JEW albums I have are Clarity and this one, both are awesome. Clarity perhaps just a little better. Only Just.
Electable (Give It Up) being my fave track on there. It's poppy, fun and generally very easy-listening. It'll grow on you, like it did with me.

Yet another wonderful album. This is JEW's newest album, and it doesn't fail to deliver. Each song is catchy and expertly crafted. Again, what is JEW's greatest strength that applies to all of their albums and just the band in general, all the songs are able to be related to some time in our lives. This album shows just how far JEW has come from Static Prevails till now. Probably one of the greatest albums of 2007, in my opinion. ^__^
