It doesn't break any ground but it's built to be as enjoyable as possible, succeeding. Not complex but it isn't painfully straightforward either, and it works nicely as a full listen as it fulfilled greatly the task of accompanying my movements for quite some days. The title track, "Afraid of the Night" and "Quiet Rhapsody" are probably my favorites, especially the title track which chorus is just irresistible. On the other hand, "Your Dreams Won't Die" can be -predictably- a bit boring (lovely bridge though!). Still, Catley with his 68 years offers a strong vocal performance that saves the day.
