Myrath make their first side-step with Legacy, electing to make small refinements to their sound, as opposed to creating something considerably different. How much lasting power this batch of tracks has remains to be seen, but it makes for an entertaining listen from start to finish, so things are still looking bright for these Tunisians.

I have the honor to review an album by Myrath. The name of it is Legacy. It was released on February 19th, 2016. "Legacy" has 'elven' songs. Jokes aside. It's their fourth album. You might not like my opinion.

When I'm honest this intro is bad. There were so many times I had to listen to the same guitar riffs by other bands. And they played it better.
2. Believer
It's like Prince of Persia meets Metal. The music video is great and the vocals are amazing. But that guitar solo was boring.
3. Get Your Freedom Back
Legacy seems to be one of those repetetive albums. I'm totally lucky *insert sarcasm*.
4. Nobody’s Lives
At 3:50 you have your trendy Djent riffs. The guitar solo is here a bit better but still not very on a high level compared to other guitar players.
5. The Needle
Remember Dethklok's Mer....? You don't need more words to know which song I mean, filthy elf. The first few seconds were like it before it fell in a room full of boredem.
6. Through Your Eyes
Just like Sheogorath, I'm into cheesy songs but this one is pure garbage.
7. The Unburnt
The only somehow outstanding song in this entire album. If you like the overrated "Game of thrones" show you also will enjoy this tribute.
8. I want To Die
"Come take my hand
To rekindle the flame
I'm not playing a game
Against odds, against trends
Let's write our future with our hands"
Just another unnessecary track.
9. Duat
Boring.
10. Endure The Silence
Tell me how many songs you heared with a simular structure.

Overall
If you thought Amon Amarth was one of the most repetetive bands of all time you need
to know that Myrath managed to be more Amon Amarth than Amon Amarth themselves.
That's a success you shouldn't be proud of. And yes, the "Prince of persia" feel and the vocals are amazing but when all of your
songs sound the same it just fails in writing more unique songs. I wouldn't recommend this album.
