1.5 very poor | Antonius | May 14th 16 | The reason why I have heard this album is because I have a sympathy for Dizzy Up The Girl, an eminent release by GGD. I have given another chance after 2013's rather poor Magnetic but it appears that the band has entered a poppier mode and its not in mood to exit soon. I despised the electronic effects but most of all the compressed/electro-drums in tracks like "Lucky One", "So Alive". "Prayer In My Pocket" sounded like modern Bon Jovi while "In Reverse" had a catchy refrain but something in the sound was not quite correct. Recommendations: "Souls In The Machine", "The Pin"

3.0 good | FlipTrackz | May 12th 16 | Eh. It's okay I guess. Not the worst pop album you'll hear this year but nothing special.

4.0 excellent | mvdu | May 7th 16 | I kind of miss the guitar rock of the outstanding album Dizzy Up The Girl, but rarely is this album uninspired. It's familiar but not going through the motions. Lead single "Over and Over" is soaring, "So Alive" deserves to be big like "Iris" was, and the slightly folky "The Flood" is one that breaks new ground for them.

3.0 good | JonEthan | March 25th 16 | Sounds like another back-to-basics Goo record. So basically, what they've been doing for the past 10 years. Probably a 3.
