Cool little black metal album, not your typical kind of affair either. There's something more 'progressive' about the songwriting approach that, while not as aggressive as many of their contemporaries, sets it apart. The production isn't quite what you'd expect. It's by no means polished, but it's not the in-your-face loudness that many bands opt for. There's a lot of issues and the playing is sloppy, but it's still a cool little album but it's a bit hard to pinpoint why exactly. Hope to see more of Vorbkt in the future.
