TBM is still reminiscent of older synth based goth bands, but there is a new school feeling in their music. If you compare this to their second album, this album has a much darker feel not only through the music and vocals but also in the overall production. Chibi has a wonderfully angelic voice that in now way clashes with the much darker music but she is able to bring it to a screech in certain songs.

Following their Album/EP debut the band shows more synthrock-electronic-fantasy-theatral music style but now more mellow and well-interpreted, check out "Lovers End" or the beautiful "Holiday".

Fun, Catchy, Poppy. It's great. But I don't love it. they seem to have a pattern, with a set mix to how much synthpop, electric noodling, and simple power chord progressions they mix together. and it can get very unsatisfying. then again iron maiden had a pattern. and they were goo......oh nevermind i gave them a 2.5

I was suggested this band, after saying I liked Jack Off Jill... I myself, would have said they are like Jack Off Jill, but loosely similar. I like this band though they are fun to listen too... they remind me of an old 80s chick band called Book Of Love.

Strolling through Hot Topic a couple years back, I noticed a cd that stood out from the others. The Birthday Massacre was its name. I was suprised and yet excited to hear how it sounds. Gothic rock, industrial, and electronica all mixed into one with female vocals. After hearing the first song Lover's end i was entranced and bought it immediately. Strange as the music is,people should give it a try.
