Yeah, that rocks. I'm a huge fan of the multi-instrumentalist progger Neal Morse. Ex Spock's Beard's leader. He did an amazing job with them, and when he left for a solo career to proceed in the name of God, I thought game was over.
But guess what, I do prefer his solo works. If you can't stand the God oriented lyrics but you like Spock's Beard or Transatlantic, get over it: the high level of musicianship and creativity makes it very attractive to any prog lover. And don't forget his other master works: Both his first solo release 'Testimony', 'Sola Scriptura', and '?'.
Neal, God bless you, and keep proggin!! You make solid and majestic prog rock,
and so you keep it alive in a fantastic way. I just pray for another full lenght
prog album. I cannot wait. With Mike Portnoy, will you.
