Let's be clear: the "remixes" are filler (besides Super 16, which is iconic), but there's about 30 minutes here that are pretty much the most sparklingly creative Neu ever recorded. Punk, Bowie/Iggy's take on glam rock, post-rock, it's all predicted here.

They are only able to sound like themselves, which seems to have its limitations but is rarely boring. Side B this time around feels jumbled with some gimmicky mutations thrown in, but they're entertaining gimmicks nonetheless.
