Rips and then trips. Ok, well it never really falls on its face, but this is a pretty front loaded album. First 5 tracks are great and then it mellows out.

Structurally, this album barely passes for a 3. Most of the songs blend together and are very bland, but I gave it a 3.5 because some of the riffs on this album are really top notch and memorable. If this was a leaner and more focused effort it could have been amazing, but I think they just filled too much time with boring power chords.

Though this album would have benefited a little from more riffs not in E and a lot from some less stale vocal melodies, it's worth checking out for fans of melodic thrash metal. By the way, the cover at the end is awesome.
