Underrated majesty. Samael's sophomore album is far more focused and well-planned than their other legendary album, Worhsip Him. With this album, they took a huge step forwarid in forging their unique groovy and doomy style. Definitely standing at the slowest end of black metal's spectrum, Blood Ritual delivers the finest riffs and salutes to the doom legends such as Candlemass or Celtic Frost.
