Obviously this album wasn't written with the intention of showcasing songs like the ones we're used to hear from Ulver on a "real" full length. It's the soundtrack to a film and its purpose is to set the mood. Though very simplistic and ambient the listening experience might get very intense if you dive head first into the album and really listen. Perfect background music and not without its flaws but when taking its purpose in consideration a great album.
