It's way more subdued than The Albatross but when it does give in and let loose it's all the more breathtaking because of it.

While the album as a whole is quite subdued, there are moments when the band knows when to crescendo to build up to more emotional and impactful moments. A bit of a step down from The Albatross lacking some of the passion from Conor Murphy's voice, but still a good release.

Weak. Boring songs that sound as generic as they can get. This album is like a bizarre sleeping pill that for some reason whimpers all the time and then screams at you for not understanding its pain... just fucking grow up, dude. There have been a bunch of good emo revival acts (actually, even their own debut was kinda good, if I recall correctly), but this is just dull without a single note that could possibly claim for your attention. They aren't even trying anymore.

High 4 out of 10: I didn't really enjoy this LP by any means, but I feel like a lot of people are hating this more than it deserves. It's just an emo-by-numbers LP.
