Knowing as much as I do about the current music scene, looking at how they craft their breakdowns and style, it was refreshing to look back to an earlier time before it became excessive. 'The Catiff Choir' is an album that knows how to get heavy, and it does a wonderful job at it while also maintaining their softer singing rhythms wonderfully.

One of the best metalcore releases of it's time. This is the only listenable album from this band, but did they ever strike a chord with this album! It's superb.

The singles on this album are astonishingly catchy, well written, and no doubt show off some of the best metalcore songs released that year. However, a lot of the other songs seem slightly half-assed.
