The closest thing to a respectable album HH has released to date. There's nothing revolutionary or particularly special here, but the increased emphasis on screaming along with JT's pleasant clean singing and catchy melodies add the necessary punch for "Hurt" to stand on its own as a good release, not just a nostalgia trip back to high school.

This album is excellent, easily the best collection of songs they've ever put together. A lot better than any full length album they got.

Probably the best thing they've ever done. Their EP triology is really great, so stop hating them because it's trendy on Sputnik. This is such a fun, passionate and honest record, it deserves credit.

im not much of a hh fan, but i thought i would give this a listen out of curiosity. i think this is a pretty solid ep, but some of the lyrics and the last three tracks were kind of "eh" for me. however, i really liked Hurt and Common Crook, so that brought my rating up.

Difficult to say this, but Hurt EP is the best Hawthorne release to day. Good mix of power pop and screaming, catchy melodies, and good production. It has the punch that Zero was missing.r
