The fourth Uncle Acid album reveals the band's migration towards a more monolithic and subtle approach compared to all previous affairs; however as a whole, The Night Creeper comes surprisingly short in establishing a lasting impression. Yeah, Uncle Acid's vocals are still a treat, the band convincingly files under vintage heavy rock, but the arrangements lack the dynamics, genuine ideas and/or the diversity that would make the songs memorable. The above said, the album may sound better live. You can check it out it at Spotify.
