Justice is an amazing electronic duo and I could listen to this album a billion times. "Genesis" Is a great intro which time stoppingly flows into "Let There Be Light". Everybody loves "D.A.N.C.E." while "Newjack", and "Phantom"/"Phantom II", take you through an elctronic ripwave. "Valentine" and "The Party" are just ok but contribute to the CD's greatness. "Dvno" is a great jam and "Stress" shreds my ears off. "Waters Of Nazareth" Kicks insane ass and "One Minute To Midnight" ends the album perfectly. Everyone should own this album.

Justice's † is the best mainstream pop/dance album since Daft Punk's Discovery. Though at moments it rips off Discovery's catchiest moments, Justice find their own niche in the grimier and more aggressive moments found throughout the album. Though pop tracks like "D.A.N.C.E." and "Phantom pt. I & 2" are perfectly sweet, tracks like "Genesis," Let There Be Light" and "Waters of Nazareth" steal the show with their immaculate sampling, sandpaper synths, and relentlessly catchy and pulsing beats.

It has a strong, energetic start (and end) but quickly dives deep into an endless circle of the same sounds and tricks that get annoying and grating very fast; and at worst, it's fucking embarrassing to listen to. There is no trashcan in the world that's deep enough for The Party. - 3.5

I gave this a 3.5 at first.
A few months later I still play it several times a week so I reckon it deserves a 4.5.
I can listen to the entire thing from beginning to end and get pumped every time.

Catchy. Original. Wild. What's not to like? The songs stay stuck in your head. They bring a disco/funk/rock vibe not seen anywhere outside of Daft Punk. They have some of the coolest, heaviest samples I've ever heard. I mean just listen Waters of Nazareth. Songs Like DANCE, DVNO, and The Party are incredibly infectious, and on the tracks without words, you'll make up your own just because you want to sing along THAT badly. If I actually danced, I'm sure this would be a 4.5 or 5.
