| 4.0 excellent | Jared Floryan | June 12th 15 | Formed by Harmony Tividad and Cleo Tucker, two young women encountering the jaws of adulthood, Girlpool's debut album sounds as precussionless as it does mournful. Admittedly, growing up is not always going to be a cakewalk, though this duo are bound to come across a sense of independence in the meantime.

| 3.5 great | RadioSuicide | September 13th 19 | what a delightful little gem. definitely doesn't try anything new, but it hits my indie rpop/rock sweet spot perfectly, and at ~20min it doesn't overstay its welcome in the rslightest. lots of interesting little vocal melodies amidst tasteful, yet subdued, guitar rwork. I'd say the vocals are the most polarizing aspect here, though I personally find rthem earnest most of the time, and the lyrics rather relatable.
