Excellent. One Word that exactly describes Owl City, for the songs that I’ve heard. Like earlier the name of the musician is Owl City. The type of music they produce is electronic/ synthpop. My overall impressions is excellent
Owl City has five albums the most recent released album is actually this year (2015). The name is Mobile Orchestra, in the album will obviously have their most recent songs. There are many interesting facts about Owl City including
Adam Young( lead singer) made the project by experimenting w/ music in his parents basement
Adam Young likes abstract art
Owl City was created in 2007 in Owatonna
There are many songs I like by Owl City examples include
Fireflies- I choose it because in ways it’s in ways a night time song since it is called Fireflies and it’s one of my favorite songs
Shine your way- I choose it because it’s an encouraging, song.
To the sky- I choose it because it has a nice tune to it.
Beautiful Times- I choose it because I like the title and the music video is neat.
The song I choose to quote the lyrics from is Fireflies, “ You would not believe your eyes if ten million fireflies lit up the world”, I choose this because it would be neat to see that many fireflies in the night time.
My impressions after listening to the song/ music is still the same even better, since now I’ve listened to the song.
The Words that I would describe the music is encouraging, joyous/ happy, and calm
The words that I would describe how I feel when I listen to the music is dancing, satisfied, and reflective
There are many artists that are related to Owl City including Lights, A rocket to the moon, and Sky sailing
The Similes that go with Owl City is, listening to this song is like a day at the beach, another simile would be This music is like a joyous day.
