4.0 excellent | ctaxxxx | May 19th 15 | An interesting black metal album with post-rock melodies and atmosphere. May get a little repetitive with the constant blast beats, but sometimes he mixes it up and adds some synths that give it a dream pop feel. Everything melds together wonderfully. Just give it a listen if none of what I said makes any sense, cause at this point I'm name-dropping genre's like an idiot...

3.5 great | zaruyache | June 18th 15 | Take the lead melodies most blasty bm bands use and replace those with 80's dance synth melodies. The result is semi-dancey black metal that's fairly enjoyable-if-not-fairly-bizarre. I wish he would've used more dancey beats instead of seeming to stick to the blasts + synths formula, but even with that one idea being used to make up an entire record, 'Desperate Dreams' is still fairly enjoyable.
