4.5 superb | Comatorium. | May 11th 15 | This shit goes fucking hard. I knew I was right to be excited by the duo of Jimmy and Stephen, and Coward is led by an absolutely monstrous harsh vocal setup courtesy of the two veterans. The riffs come hard and fast, at times sludgy and at others breakneck, delving away from the band?s metalcore roots for a more post metal oriented approach. They even dabble in shoe gaze during ?Shadow,? which currently sticks out as my favorite. Seriously looking forward to getting to know this new treading of a high school staple.

4.0 excellent | c0nf1n3d | May 16th 15 | Need to let this one sink in a bit before writing a full review. So far, it's very impressive - and well worth the money I donated towards making the album. It's a true love-letter to the Haste the Day fans out there; tracks diversifying from experimental such as "Reconcile" to heavy such as "Take". There's the songs that any genre listener can enjoy such as "World" and "Fail", and then there's "Shadow"...a fantastic song that highlights the potential from all nine members. However the album contains a real gem - that being the ninth track. "Accept" is definitive proof that the classic Haste the Day sound is still definitely present; and one that after listening, is sorely missed. I probably speak for a select bunch that would've preferred perhaps one or two more songs in the same feel as "Accept", but as the song title states - I'll 'accept' it. Another great Haste the Day album for the books.

4.0 excellent | moshpotatoes | May 16th 15 | Dark grungy production, a harsh and screeching vocal duo, violent guitar riffs, very few breakdowns placed in just the right spots; all blended together to create a beyond mature but wise album.

4.5 superb | Armandoman12 | May 14th 15 | This is going to blow expectations out of the water. It's like they're wiping their slate clean and leaving us with something brand new: a magnum opus for all of their careers.

3.0 good | Toondude | May 15th 15 | It's too safe and there really isn't anything that memorable to make this album stand out. In general, it's just another metalcore album.

4.0 excellent | MegaJake1024 | May 11th 15 | Haste The Day have taken a massive progressive step away from metalcore, which means for me, its not as good as Wolf King, but that would've been ridiculous. Its just too sludgy for my taste. But when they do go straight metalcore (Accept), its fucking dope. And when they don't, its still dope. The riffs are real hard - not as adrenaline-pumping as AOFTWK for me, but they're hard.
Love the vocals. The variance between Jimmy, Stephen, and Brennan's voices is just pretty awesome. Though I definitely would've preferred if Stephen did a bit more clean vocal work in the choruses, though he does a fair amount I guess.
Shadow, Accept, and Secret are hard standouts for me.

4.0 excellent | NewBallistics | March 29th 16 | The great "last chance" record. Easily accessible to every kind of metalcore fan and layered with some ballsy production choices, Haste does the impossible. Remind relevant.

3.5 great | Alabaster Jones | June 12th 15 | This marks the second straight year a band I used to jam in middle school has returned from hiatus. Needless to say, this album was a wave of nostalgia for me, but for a new listener, it won't be. That being said, this album does have some great melodies and riffs, with the two vocalists trading off well done harsh vocals song after song. The drumming is as good as it's ever been, and some great songs are made here, closer "Gnaw" being of particular note. So, if you need a solid slab of modern metalcore, Haste The Day has you covered.

1.0 awful | jc3494 | June 4th 15 | The album cover features a black and white picture of a forest. That is an appropriate measure of how exciting this album is.

3.0 good | ddamitz | May 26th 15 | Been a HTD lover for MANY years, but I have to agree with "nononsense" on this one. The production of this album confuses the crap out of me. To me it sounds like the "scratch" tracks and it never was mastered, nor were the levels between vocals and instruments fixed. Not sure what happened, but that won't stop me from listening to it. I just expected a better mix...

0.0 | Skoop | May 25th 15 | I feel as though this could have been much better. The album is disappointingly samey throughout even with the lineup mix, and poor production certainly does it no favors.

0.0 | tresm87 | May 11th 15 | A nice overall blending of sound from all of the members with some amazing standout tracks like ''shadow" and
"gnaw". Sometimes the production really baffles me especially since they raised a ton of money, but maybe they
wanted more of a dirty sound idk. Either way they could've made it sound extremely better considering. My
biggest complaint is Brennan's vocal decline. He isn't the same singer anymore. Stephen kills it as always, and
imo should pursue a solo career focusing on his clean vocals. Pretty solid album, though not nearly as exciting as
past releases.
