0.0 | Meatplow | August 29th 09 | An underwhelming release from KMFDM that has its moments (the militaristic female nihilist speech of Dogma probably a standout) but mostly comes off as a rather messy industrial-metal affair with a flat production and lame songwriting.

2.5 average | NickLizard49 | October 8th 14 | This album hasn't really got anything to say: it seems to be the less inspired copy of Nihil and
Angst, created by fusing their mediocre moments. Their industrial metal quickly became self-
referential (like their often uninspired lyrics) and Son Of A Gun reminds me of A Drug Against
War. Of course if someone listens to KMFDM for the first time may find this album to be pure
genius, but it is just a collection of some tracks that are copies of their previous works (there
can be found genius). It is not a bad album at all, but after having listened to their previous
albums it only sounds repetitive and boring.

3.5 great | Phobia | January 21st 14 | I am amazed to see all the hate for this album. Right under "Angst", which is my favorite, this is my 2nd favorite. Every song on this is awesome, even ones like Power that just seems to have this certain charm I guess.

4.0 excellent | JesusV4 | August 19th 10 | Best KFMDM album I've heard (I've also heard Attak, WWIII, Don't Blow Your Top, and Nihil). Only problem is that it's too short - It's excellent enough to want more, but it's not even just that, the album feels inconclusive upon closing. Still an awesome listen.

4.5 superb | GentleAvacado | May 15th 10 | XTORT is a flawless melding of genres ranging from KMFDM's classic industrial metal sound to soul and jazz, with a fair sprinkling of danceable electronics in the mix. Possibly their best offering to date.
