There was a time when breaking English in strange places, blasting the double pedal with no shame, and robotically introducing "Insania[add doomsday]" did actually work. It was an era of animes being translated, soaring tenor highs being appreciated and R.O.B. being of no particular use. Happy days when Helloween--instead of self-indulgent titles and three bonus tracks--featured truly amusing tunes and three different band members. Gerstner should be fired for contributing "Heroes", the opener, which introduces all the rubbish that can pop out when the euro-power refuses to call it quits.

Same ol' same ol from Helloween on their 15th album, albeit a couple of songs stand out due to killer choruses ("My God-given right","Crazy").

I was very excited for this album...Just to be terribly disappointed. I only found two songs worth
mentioning and one of which was the single...."Battle's Won" and "Creatures In Heaven" were the
only ones I found tolerable. Every other song was rubbish...Did anyone else catch that the vocal
melody for the song this album is named rips off an older Helloween song called "Power"? I guess
its not ripping off per se since it's the same artist but...anyway...this album sucks.

Helloween will never re-capture the magic of the 'Keeper of the Seven Keys' era and barely seem capable of pulling off the same quality as 'Better Than Raw', but at least they're not singing about Heavy Metal Hamsters anymore.

Not sure if what's autoplagarism or what's homage, but its all catchy and fun. The fact that i'm
enjoying this though I was
delaying the listen to months after release due to having doubts and still coming out happy is the
most obvious sign that I have become a fanboy. Favorite cut so far - Lost In America, bonus track
"Wicked Game" has this lovable infectious chorus.

The last two records which showcased the darker side of Helloween were also stronger than this album. This one is closer to mixed bags such as Gambling with the Devil or Rabbit Don't Come Easy in the sense that it has good and catchy songs along with more generic and uninspired ones. It has it's moments but as a whole doesn't quite come together.
