| 3.0 good | Antonius | June 20th 15 | This is the band's fourth album, fifteen years after their mouthwatering debut in 2003. What I liked most about Last of Our Kind was it's guitar content: solid riffs and melodic chords. However, Hawkins' vocal performances which have always been the band's strongest weapon, were very average here. You will not listen the bombastic singing of Permission..., but Hawkins performing carefully inside his comfort zone; choosing very carefully when to step outside of it. Recommendations: "Hammer & Tongs", "Sarah O Sarah", "Barbarian", "Open Fire"

| 4.0 excellent | cageofman | June 15th 15 | I think this album has some great riffs and melodies, and is pretty consistent throughout. Catchy too, no denying. I really dig it! And definitely some humour in there as well.
