Did someone ever coin the phrase "abstract metal"? If not, then this is it. This is to me the sonic equivalent to abstract art, which is to say pretentious garbage. The only positive thing I can say about this album is that it pisses me off. It is a compliment I suppose, being that very few bands invoke such strong emotional response in me, even if it is pure loathing.
