They sound a lot more Of Montreal-ish on this one. Which is fine if you're a fan of that band, but I liked their
previous albums a bit more because they had a good, classic psych sound going; it wasn't anything hugely
special, but this one loses some of that sound.

it's the same indie psychadelic formula, but with brand new and pretty melodies. the title track is a killer, and "extreme wealth and casual cruelty" is not only a strong soty contender, but probably the best thing the band ever did.
