pretty ugly album. it's bleak, dark, and raw. a blackened doom band that can stand proud of making something that represents their genre perfectly. one of the darkest albums out there, and it is realllyy good.

Noctus releases his next musical outing of sunshine and flowers. Just kidding, its some of the most soul
crushing and effectively atmospheric blackened doom I've ever heard. Awesome job man

If there's one thing I love about atmospheric black metal, it's the vibe I totally get lost in. Noctus takes us on an epic Darkspace-esque journey that's as bleak as -30 C winter nights and as hypnotizing as a kaleidoscope of shades of grey. Essential atmospheric black metal right here.

Despite the faster, blast-driven sections suffering a tad from an insufficient recording setup,
Ethereal Shroud's sophomore effort really shines during its slower, more melodic (and even "epic")
sections--which make up the majority of its third (and 25 minute) closing track. Given the
songwriter's previous successes with his even more melodic project(s), this effective show of
melodic songwriting really shouldn't have been as much of a surprise as it was. Shame on
me.

However I've missed the "original", I loved the new remastered version from the very beginning. Fantastic sound, perfect amount of reverb and I loved the "Summoning-vocals" as well. Great album.

oh you're the guy who rates endless albums on this site ridiculously low, laughably low - but
at the same time you want everyone to rate your release fair and you don't like it when it
happens to you? I have zero respect for your ratings on this site / opinion. Zero. My guess is
you do it to make yourself and your releases look better. Anyway. I listened to your album.
