Crafting a powerful and emotion invoking record, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, while boasting an admittedly silly name, boasts powerful guitars, propelling drums, soaring cleans and multiple musical aspects with a variety of instruments used in numerous ways to make every listen memorable. However, the harsh vocals are unfortunately slightly hilarious, but this won't take away from the musical draw that will pull you in when listening to this record.

A nice blend of energetic, symphonic/melodic death metal from the oft-reliable country of Finland, Before the Bleeding Sun may not quite match its excellent predecessor, but that doesn't stop it from being a solid release in its own right.
