easily their best release yet, they finally have cracked the formula of the balance between symphonic orchestration and metal

Sterile as fuck. Nothing interesting going on here, and it's so clean that it even washes away any real power behind the heaviness.

Mechina are nothing if not consistent. They've got the symphonic industrial death metal thing down... it's just too bad that, despite improvement with each album, it just feels like more of the same at this point.

The "metal" aspects of this album are the same ones that Mechina have been employing for a while now. Mechina aren't really one of those bands that you listen to for the riffs. The guitar work is merely there to compliment the drums which in turn compliment the orchestra. If you listen to this expecting a metal album you will be disappointed.

Really love their use of orchestral elements and non-English languages, this is fun. The entire theme reminds me of GiTS or Neuromancer, albeit in far less fleshed out world. While I could take or leave the main male vocals, Archeron is a novelty that I can easily see myself coming back to.

A whole lot of industrial, very little metal. In regards to the metal itself, it lacks riffs, creativity, power, and really, anything interesting.
