4.0 excellent | Antonius | February 5th 16 | +4626-Comfortzone was definitely the best record I've listened during 2015. This is not a concept album, however the texture of the music is well-crafted and firm throughout. The dominating element in this one hour of impassioned prog tunes is without a doubt the melodies, either coming out of the organ or the guitars. Such an expressive use of the organ could only be found in an early 70s prog gem; not to mention the simplicity in guitar solos which has become a rare thing in the era of 'the complicated, the better'. I would recommend to listen to the whole album in order to absorb every detail of it. Still, if you have to be strict and picky, you either listen to the colourful "Hold On", the voluminous "Ode To The Rock 'n' Roller" or to the riveting "Comfortzone".
