Whether, I's first full length record is a good start for an upcoming band. Released by InVogue rRecords, Robby Joyner produced the album, and it sounds excellent. The band stay within very rconventional post-hardcore limits. There isn't much uniqueness here. But, while they walk a well-rtreaded path, Whether, I executes the genre formula pretty well. The vocals, especially the wicked rscreams, are really great. The group's instrumentation is also rock solid. Songs like "Novelist" rand "Mistweaver" are great tunes, and the release is surprisingly groovy. Overall, this is quite rplain post-hardcore music, but it's fun and highly enjoyable, and a solid debut for a promising rgroup of musicians.
