4 songs in, and this is probably the best thing that I have heard in a long time. Currently in love with Intervals, old fan of PTW, this is one of the stronger releases that I have ever heard.r

"The Night God Slept" serves as one of the strongest debuts in metalcore. Fresh instrumentation and a rather uneque concept (with most the songs here being from the POV from a woman) with some really balsley themes throughout. Silent Planet debut shows this californian band can write a half an hour of compelling, thought provoking music.

Wow, talk about a beautiful album! Silent Planet are a band that I recently found and boy am I glad I did. There's some great musicianship on this album, not to mention a lot of emotion. I was definitely caught up in this album from start to finish because of how atmospheric and sometimes powerful it could be, similar to Everything In Slow Motion's last album. These guys are on their way to becoming the next Underoath, and it won't be surprise if they reach that level of popularity in hardcore/metalcore scene in the next couple of years. 9/10
