Your Evolution, Brainwashed, Our Legacy, Four Walls, Torment, Trophies of Violence, Method in Madness, Modern Minds... holy shit.
There's nothing as devastating as Dead Behind the Eyes, but they've upped their game once again. This shit crushes.

Much better than their previous (still great) output and an impressive vital sign of the presumed dead metalcore genre. Maybe it will even grow and become a 5 for me.

this album... grabbed ahold of me in early 2015 at age 19, and is yet to let go at age 25. the fucking ultimate melding of catchy crushing riffs with soaring hooks and gang vocals. it changed over the next couple albums, but during this one, they were one of exceptionally few bands who could seriously claim to be very sentimental without spilling over into cheesiness.

Truly one of the better metalcore albums that I've heard in the past few years. In a genre that has way too many bands become bland and boring too quickly, it's great to see a band breathe fresh air into the lungs of what seems like it could be a dying genre.

It's high energy and I'm sure the songs will be great live, but as a whole, this album doesn't go anywhere. Most of it sounds the same, and it sounds remarkably similar to their debut in places. Trophies of violence would be my only pick. Regardless, they seem like good guys and they can put on a belter of a show.

It's only March and I've probably already decided on my album of the year. The riffs, the melodies, the vocals, every aspect of this is spot on and I have no doubt this will be a game changing metalcore album.
