Some lazy songwriting here and there, but Lynn's voice is the highlight of these tracks and makes for a stellar debut full-length.

When i discovered this band's ep, I was stunned by the raw emotion and energy, and mostly the amazing talent
that Lynn displayed. I was skeptical when they changed their sound to a more synth/electronic pop sound with
the first single though it was extremely enjoyable. I can honestly tell you now that after this album drops it's going
to blow up and transcend modern music. Lynn easily has the best voice in music, and this band crafted an
absolutely infectious, ambient, and fun album.Believe the hype.

This isn't just an engaging debut studio album for PVRIS, but it's also a really passionate pop rock offering. Although the compositions could use some diversity, a lot of it isn't too necessary due to how much weight is carried throughout. I give props to Lyndsey Gunnulfsen's emotional vocal performance, and the synths manage to add a bit of depth.

Too much sugar, too catchy, too gay. Too much.
Every single second of this record is overproduced to saturation, everything feels plastic.
The only positive point is the energy the singer puts, but even this is wasted by this horrible production. A collection of unbearable earworms.

Decent synthy pop rock that's relatively catchy, but whose catchiness mostly feels trite and generic. It's got attitude for sure, but one that's already been seen multiple times.

A satisfying and strong debut. PVRIS blend electronic pop and pop rock that is catchy, energetic, and fresh. The instrumental parts blended with electronic elements create an aesthetic that works perfectly with the vocals. Vocalist, Lyndsey Gunnulfsen gives a fantastic performance with her strong voice and catchy hooks. White Noise is a solid collection of songs from a promising band.

PVRIS manage to bandwagon every single postmodern mainstream and indie pop rock trend on their debut album. This normally would be a disastrous step for most artists, but White Noise ends up being an infectious, catchy as balls hooky album. The instrumentals for the most part are on point, but the winning piece here is front-woman Lyndsey Gunnulfsen who's slick and sweet vocals have a commanding presence throughout the album. A solid progression from their EP and allow PVRIS for the moment, to stand out a with solid concise album.
