Varathron return after a 5-year long absence and deliver a great album decorated with elements from pure heavy, black, doom and (some) goth metal, on par with the style of Greek black metal. The sound production is old fashioned but good overall, and hints back to the early '90s. The current line up seems capable of producing even better music in the future, both instrumentally and in terms of song writing. In here though, the arrangements could be more elaborate with respect to the first few and last few (less) or the middleground tracks (more).
