Kings of radio rock doing what they've always done: adapting current pop trends to the easiest and most
digestible format possible. At least they decided to take a couple risks, and they are easily the best songs on
the album. Check out "Got Me Runnin Round" for proof

Nickelback's latest album is almost decimated by Chad Kroeger's incompetence as a downright enjoyable vocalist and the overall shallow craftsmanship. You can make the argument that No Fixed Address is more or less a carbon copy of its predecessors, though it *does* show that these guys aren't intimidated to experiment, if the anti-political lead single "Edge of a Revolution" and "Got Me Runnin' Round" are any consolation.

A surprisingly solid collection of pop songs... there's still plenty of generic moments and lyrical cheese, but rwhen the band actually branches out - such as on the funky "She Keeps Me Up" - the results easily exceed rexpectations.rEDIT: Nah this blows

I'm not opposed to No Fixed Address because it has a 'Nickelback' tag name on it. Quite contrary, I listened it with attention to see if they have taken any measures to reduce the negative criticism around their name. Apparently for me, they haven't. From an 'indifferent' status I've gone to the 'critical' one. Although it starts promising with "Million Miles an Hour" and the decent "Edge of a Revolution" my expectations soon began to fade. The generic and radio friendly sound of "What Are You Waiting For", "Believe", "Satellite" left me apathetic, while I skipped "Miss You" and "Sister Sin" for the obvious reasons. "Got Me Runnin' Round" was bad because it tried to mix the 'Nickelback genre' with hip hop, and "The Hammer Comin Down" was too Nightwish sounded. Recommendations: "Million Miles an Hour", "Get 'Em Up"

Okay okay, Nickelback for the most part is already really bad, but this album is just, especially terrible. Over saturated with electronics, making it sound as artificial as possible, and not even catchy. Just very sludgy and awful.
