Damn, I really liked the last three albums and I expected something better, but this is fuckign boring. Barely any memorable moments, seems these guys are on their way to becoming Emmure's peers. Even Observer is kinda disappointing and could have been so much better. These guys have done it all and done it better on Continent, Wormwood and DITOM. rThis time around, it looks like the song titles are the only thing they put any effort into, but last time there were at least fun songs on the album.

10 years later, I still think this is their best album, has the most riffs with (arguably) their best songwriting. Not as reliant on breakdowns as some other TAS records are. And to top it all off... fucking Observer.rThe one thing I will say is I appreciate Vinny's expanded vocal range on the newer records, wish some of those high shrieks would've made it here too.

Superior songwriting to the last full-length, but the production isn't as heavy as it should be. It sounds incredibly muddy, which is a shame as the excellent production of their previous album was its biggest strengths. Despite being 33% longer than "Death Is the Only Mortal", it actually feels a lot shorter. Highlights are mainly around the first half of the album, but the second half is no slouch either, with the 27-minute experimental final track working surprisingly well for them. Their sound is starting to lose its potency however, so here's hoping they'll come back with some killer stuff on their next one.

Mid 5 out of 10: There's a lot of good things coming from this LP. Vincent's vocals are absolute killer and "The Observer" is truly one of the strongest songs of 2014. However, a lot of the tracks on this LP are filled with such lame generic stereotypes that it just begins to lose it's flavor. The heaviness and Vincent keeps it listenable though, so it's alright.

That's a pretty solid album. Not too much deathcore, just a bit, some breakdown, but they make sense in the construction of the music. Good riff, loud and damn violent, and they actually use like 3 or 4 of their strings ! Only that should get your attention on this band
