Although NehruvianDOOM is ultimately a lackluster release on all fronts, it still has some solid beats, outside of the re-used ones, MF's trademark tongue twisters, and Nehru's surprisingly smooth flow, managing to make it a fun spin for at least a few listens. rRecommended tracks: OM, Darkness (HBU)

In concept alone, NehruvianDOOM would work just fine as a collaborative album. Execution-wise, the beats provided by MF DOOM himself are watered down and don't do a whole lot to augment Bishop Nehru's rapping, which is alright but this young man's clearly gonna need potential one day or another. I suppose the vintage feel of the production and the artwork by Ghostshrimp are better than decent, however. How this received the hype it did perplexes me just a bit; it's a project that involved MF... That's perhaps the case.

Inconsistent project. Nehru sounds like a lazier sounding Joey Badass to me, and he needs to stop rapping about being a teen prodigy and do something about being a teen prodigy. Nehru sounded better over DOOM's beats on his last project (look up "Lemon Grass"), with the exception of" Om", "Darkness", and "Great Things". Also DOOM barely shows up rapping on this album, so that sucks also.

i honestly feel like nehru is being held back by working with doom on this one. it's as if he's trying to write his raps around the production instead of the production supporting the rapping. still solid release though
