what the hell happened? they went in the complete opposite direction with an album that sounds like made-for-radio pop-rock garbage. A Chorus of Obliteration is one of the better albums in my collection, but this new album doesn't even sound like the same band. I can hardly believe the extreme turn for the worse from this band that this album signifies.

The vocals are no longer growled and the music is no longer very metal. A complete style change for the worse. Their vocalist is mediocre and sings with absolutely no confidence. Their guitarists are still very good, but nothing on this album is all that technically challenging or very exciting. Very, very good lyrics though.
