Pompeii is a pretty unique band. I had a hard time trying to place them into a distinct genre. They switch their style up a lot during their songs and I love how they use cello. Normally, the only time you hear cello in a song is when they band has a string arrangement on one of their songs, but very rarely is there an actual band member that just plays cello. I like this album, it's legit.

I was not convinced. I didn't hear anything original brought to the table, and I couldn't make it all the way through despite trying.
