First of all, I hate the first single 1000HP with a passion. I think it's the worst Godsmack song in their entire catalog. Another song off the new album that I can't even listen to is Locked and Loaded, which is another one about Nikki Sixx. The lyrics to both songs are generic as hell and just unlistenable to me. Surprisingly, I think the other 8 songs are pretty damn solid. The album continues to grow on me the more I listen to it. Overall, I think the best songs on the album are Something Different, Generation Day, What's Next, Living in the Gray, and I Don't Belong. I will definitely be picking this one up.

I can legitimately hear this entire album being played over any Monster Jam event in existence; those would still be more entertaining than 1000hp, if only because the monster trucks themselves can drown out the noises coming from this butt rock.

This new offering is far more better than previous two albums by them.All the song work out beautifully just the titke track was a poor track on the whole.Lved the album

1000hp was not even able to reach the lowered expectations I had for Godsmack's new album. Although it is partially that I no longer enjoy music this simple so much, this album has also lost much of the melody and catchyness that made Godsmack decent in the first place.
