This guy's pretty edgy but he's also a talented rapper who raps over great beats and has solid features. also he's a movie buff so he's cool in my book

The songs are more memorable, the beats are bigger and Sadistik's delivery is even more on-point than the last go 'round. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have been surprised to find out this guy is one of the most promising artists coming out of Fake Four these days.

Guy's got a hard 5 in him, this 'aint it thanks to a couple misdemeanors (namely 1984 and rthe sore thumb that is 'Death Warrant') but dat atmosphere son - damn. Last track is the rbest thing he's ever done

It took me a long time to really decide how I felt about this record. Suffice to say, it's
the Sadistik I love, and he's consistently improving with every record including this, but
Cody may have been getting ahead of himself in creating this one. Things are entirely there
in the lyrics, but some of the beats and his delivery, in many cases, doesn't translate. In
comparison to his previous LPs, there is much to be desired, but standing alone,
Ultraviolet is a great piece of work.

Sadistik continues to improve in almost every area. The instrumentation is incredibly consistent all the way through, and each track flows especially well (besides the bizarre inclusion of Death Warrant). His delivery continues to evolve as well, and that's something to get excited about. He's always been a particularly stunning lyricist, but here his cadence is evolving; becoming far more organic. It's crazy to think that a year after his last incredible release we'd see one nearly as intense, but here's Ultraviolet, in all it's trippy glory. Check it out before the hype-train leaves the station.

I haven't had enough time to fully digest it, but at this point I think it's good but it falls short of the quality of Flowers for My Father. The album feels like it lacks the same overall cohesion and meaningfulness, and some of the features (mainly Sticky Fingaz), while good, did not seem to mesh well with Sadistik's style. These are still early thoughts and I have enjoyed the album thus far, it just falls short of the expectations that his previous release created for me.
